The Modern Cabin is a reinterpretation of the traditional cabin as a retreat or ‘getaway’.  This project uses large expanses of glass for windows and doors, along with concrete as the primary structural material.  The spaces are small and intimate to encourage social interaction for the family during holidays and special events.  Another heirloom type project, this building is designed to last generations.
