This Modern Resort style home has two large stone walls that slice thru the center core to create a strong spatial axis to define and organize the spaces. Silvery gray cut stone is dry stacked in large blocks to form these walls and strategic openings invite various degrees of flow through them. A giant pivot door welcomes guests as the ‘front door’ while massive moveable glass walls open up to the view and Outdoor Living to the rear. The pool, spa, and fountains bring water close to the interiors while creating the Resort like environment terracing over the site. Openness, wellness, natural light and ventilation, reclaimed water, solar, and good fundamental design contribute to the authentic character of this special family residence.
